2008 Spring Events Calendar

 

  • May 9 - 11, 2008 - Mother's Day Weekend - A fun-filled weekend for the whole family, and a relaxing retreat for Mom.  A jewelry expert & bead-maker will be on hand, to assist those who still need to create Mother's Day gifts.  Popular pastel artist Marcia Wise will also be visiting, demonstrating her fine talents.  Live entertainment is scheduled during the weekend, including nightly performances, featuring Aprylle & Reed Desrosiers, who play the flute and guitar on Saturday.  The Rick Erwin Trio will entertain guests during the traditional Mother's Day Brunch.  Please call 1-877-225-7267 for more details, or Book a Reservation Online.   View the Mother's Day Brunch Menu.

 

  • May 16 - 18, 2008 - The World of Wine & Cheese, Part 1 - Join representatives from Cabot Cheese of Vermont, Finger Lakes Wine Country of New York, and Kobrand Wine Distributors, as they share & compare their best products.  The focus will be on "old world" wines from France and Italy, contrasted with "new world" Pinot Grigio and Pinot Noir from the Finger Lakes Region.  A delicious ice wine will also be available for tasting.  Friday night will open with a wine & cheese reception, while Saturday will be filled with tasting & classes.  Enjoy a five-course dinner Saturday evening with wine pairings, then a leisurely jazz breakfast on Sunday.  Please call 1-877-225-7267 for more details, or Book a Reservation Online.

 

  • May 23 - 26, 2008 - Memorial Day Weekend - Our traditional BALSAMS Grand New England Clam Bake will be presented on the veranda, overlooking Dixville Notch this year.  Complete with all the trimmings, the Clam Bake draws guests back year after year, to sample some of New England's finest summer-style cuisine.  Samples of great brew, and some of the most scenic golf in New Hampshire also await you this Memorial Day.  Phil Jewitt, Owner/Operator of Pennichuck Brewery will be teaching the finer points of brewing your own beer.   Dan True from Capital Distributors will also be on hand, guiding guests through an array of micro-brewery samples.  Guided hikes, and culinary demonstrations will round out the weekend's events.  Children's activities, including a children's parade are also planned.   Please call 1-877-225-7267 for more details, or Book a Reservation Online.
