Snowboarding

Snowboarders are more than welcome at The BALSAMS WILDERNESS.  All  trails, glades and the Terrain Park on the mountain are open to snowboarders.  PSIA certified instruction is available through the Ski Learning Center, for group or private lessons.  Click Here To Learn More.  Rental equipment is also available through the Ski Shop.        The BALSAMS WILDERNESS offers something for snowboarders of all levels.  One third of our trail system is marked with green, for those just learning.  Another third of the mountian is designated blue for intermediates, with the remaining trails devoted to experts.  Two triple chairs and a double chair lift service the mountain, and snowmaking is in place on 80% of the trails.
