Select Rooms
Averaging approximately 275 square feet, our Select Rooms blend comfort with charm and are found throughout the hotel. Each room features either two double beds or one king, as well as traditional décor like ruffled sheer curtains, period furniture, wrought iron accessories and other grand resort touches.
Superior Rooms
For spacious accommodations boasting the best views of “the notch” and the Great North Woods, book a Superior Room on your next stay. Approximately 425 square feet in size, rooms feature two double beds or one king, a sitting area, desk, ruffled sheer curtains, period furniture, wrought iron accessories and other grand resort touches.
Additional Rooms & Suites
The BALSAMS offers a limited number of additional rooms and suites, available upon request. Options like Deluxe Rooms, Family Suites, Parlor Suites and Specialty Suites all provide larger accommodations, and many come with multiple or adjoining rooms. Some suites include additional amenities like Jacuzzi tubs and entertainment centers, and pet-friendly rooms are also now available. Rates vary depending on the type of room or suite, and can only be booked by calling reservations directly.
Pet Friendly
The BALSAMS is pleased to announce the opening of 17 pet-friendly rooms in The BALSAMS Inn, a building located adjacent to the main hotel. In order to keep all of our guests comfortable, only these rooms have been designated for pets.
