Hiking at The BALSAMS

The BALSAMS has a vast system of trails for walking, hiking, and mountain biking. The Mountain Bike and Nature Center offers rentals and service for bicycles. The hours of operation are from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm daily, and the knowledgeable staff of the Center offers guidance for all needs. (There is a minimal supportive fee to utilize the bike trails.)

There is also a nature display at the Center for our guests interested in viewing various plants and wildlife that are found throughout the property. Maps are available upon request. In addition, there are a small selection of outdoor gear, bike supplies, and miscellaneous sundries available for sale.

If you have any questions, please, call the Mountain Bike and Nature Center at 603-255-3921. Hope to see you on the trails!
